I have a question about the recipe "Martha Stewart's Macaroni and Cheese" from Genius Recipes. Has anyone tried to make this in a slow cooker? Tips, advice? Thank you in advance!

It'll never look the same because slow cookers don't have top elements and they are designed to operate with a lid.
Much of the charm of this dish and other gratins is the crunchy top.
And a recipe—in case it helps you, too.
