Pecan pie ice cream pairing suggestions

I tend not to recommend my own recipes very much because it makes me feel kind of twitchy and awkward, but I have a boozy banana no-churn ice cream recipe which would be a little different and fun I think. I'd go with simple to contrast with the maple and spice--creme fraiche perhaps?

Vanilla. I like cinnamon with Sweet potato pie, but not so much with pecan.

I say go boozy with bourbon or dark rum. I've made a dark rum, egg yolk frozen custard once that was incredible. I've since misplaced the recipe, but I'm sure I can dig it up.

Swirl Paul Virant's pumpkin butter (Genius recipe here on Food52) into vanilla ice cream, or make his pumpkin ice cream made with the pumpkin butter (recipe in his fine cookbook, "Preservation Kitchen"). ;o)

Sage ice cream would be delicious, autumnal, and unusual with pecan pie.

I make a maple pecan ice cream (recipe on this site) - those flavors are really good together. Maybe you could make the maple ice cream, leaving out the pecans so it's not redundant.
