Q: I think you ladies are smoking hot. Ever thought of cooking in your lingerie?

The thought of this is absurd in restaurant kitchens. And even at home for 2 very important reasons:

1) OF COURSE IT IS DANGEROUS TO COOK IN ONE'S LINGERIE. If you cook in lingerie, you might as well be asking for trouble. Or if by "cook," you mean actually just putting maraschino cherries on top of a sundae or eating. In which case, this is not cooking at all. But if by chance you mean "real cooking" involving heat, steam, oil, grease, knives, burners, ovens, maybe slippery floors, then, you can surmise how dangerous it can be. Cooks/chefs/dishwashers/managers wear certain clothing for a reason, and it is definitely not for "pleasurable" reasons.

2) OF COURSE IT IS UNSANITARY. Imagine what can get into your food if you're not wearing proper clothing, if your hair isn't tied back, if your fingernails are long, if you're wearing fake eyelashes to possibly seduce. Or maybe you're wearing a frock with all the bells and whistles...it could all possibly fall into one's food.

But perhaps these weren't the answers you were looking for?

i think when you tell your mother that you're asking a question like that on twitter, that's when those ladies would begin to think about it. jeebus.
