Hi Pam; If you wrap the cake well I think it could last at least a week or more in the freezer. I have never tried longer than a week so couldn't accurately say. I double wrapped and placed in a big ziplock and the cake was as good as when I first made it after a week. Hope that helps and let me know.
Like overnight, but easier.
