Can I freeze turkey meatballs made from a slow cooker? It's in the refrigerator now

Yes! Let them cool (in the refrigerator so you don't get food poisoning), store them in an airtight container, and they should be fine.

Frozen meatballs should be ok for a couple of months in the freezer. After that the quality deteriorates, but they're still safe to eat.

thank you!! even though I slow cooked a frozen meatball, it can be refrozen? Just wanted to make sure.

Yes, once the meatballs and any sauce are chilled, you can freeze for longer storage.

how long do they last in the freezer? I made BBQ and cranberry sauce frozen/already cooked meatballs. I wasn't sure if once cooked/frozen stuff can be refrozen.
