A question about a recipe: Old Fashioned Persimmon Pudding

I have a question about the recipe "Old Fashioned Persimmon Pudding" from tsp. How many cups of pulp is equivalent to 2lbs of persimmons?

I just made a persimmon bread that called for 3 cups (or 1.5 pounds) Fuyu persimmons. With that conversion, you would need 4 cups of purée.

The ingredient list states 2 cups persimmon puree and the instructions says to peel and remove the seeds from about 2 pounds of ripe persimmons. Pulse in a food processor until smooth, if necessary.
