I have a frozen apple pie and a frozen strawberry rhubarb pie both have the same directions and same amount of cook time -- can I cook them together?

yes, but make sure to cook them on the same rack so that they cook evenly. if one is above the other it will mess with the cooking.

Agree. But to get even baking if oven width doesn't permit side by side:
• position them not directly above one another
• rotate (change their positions) at 1/3 and 2/3 way through bake time.

Yes! Just be sure to leave some room between them (and the edges of the oven) so that the hot air can circulate.
