I have a question about the recipe "Nekisia Davis' Olive Oil and Maple Granola" from Genius Recipes. Can quick cooking steel cut oats be used instead of old-fashioned oats in this recipe? If so, would the instructions change?

No, you really can't. The steel cut oats are quite hard and sort of gritty when uncooked. You need rolled oats for this recipe. ;o)
A nod to nostalgia without being kitschy.
