I have a question about the recipe "Yam and Peanut Stew with Kale" from Gena Hamshaw. Can this be made in a crockpot?

Sure! I would sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger first and then put them along with everything else (other than the ingredients called for later -- peanut butter, kale, and garnishes) in the crockpot.
I would also sauté the spices, as they seem to get so much more robust after sautéeing than simply adding them raw to a stew. Yum!
