Sure! I would honestly just eyeball it and add in as much as I wanted into the dough or filling—if the raisins/currants are looking dry, plump them up in some hot water (or other liquid) for a half hour or so first, then drain.
I agree with Kristen but I would say no more than a 1/3rd to a 1/2 c if you want an actual measurement.
