Aah my friend. Welcome to the club. Yes it is weird....but wonderful! I get lucky because I'm in Europe (even though I'm in the States at the mo), so I'm amongst the first to see the EPs and have the luxury of choosing well before any of the US folk....perhaps thats the compensation I seek from missing out on the goodies like the canning fests, food52 parties, pie contest party with Martha S.....Whether or not that's sufficient balance, me no know but....
I do wonder if I should sit out testing recipes sometimes to give more folks time to test, but then there are weeks when there don't seem to be enough testers. You do have to be awfully quick! It is awful when you have a meeting or work that just interferes, isn't it?
I laid claim to the carrot croquettes, the opportunity to savor something fried & accompanied by whole milk greek yogurt! YESSS!! My son had to wait for an extra 15 mins @ daycare!
Also I will say that I have cooked SO many new and different things, and learned so much by testing the EPs - techniques, ingredients and combinations I would have never thought of - LOVE the process!!!!
No, not wrong or weird this is going to be a yummy one...so many great entries! They almost need a savory and a sweet category and it is after all for Martha!
No, neither wrong nor weird, because they get snapped up very quickly and you are definitely not the only one ;) I am sitting this one out because I think I ate too many carrots last week . . .
