I messed up baking i think please help?

I made a base dough with instant active yeast & i did not let dough sit for more then 10 minutes befor i baked it , is it safe to consume with the yeast and all...newbie mistake???

Should be safe to eat, but it will probably also be very dense. The yeast, of course, makes it rise and get lighter. We all made and continue to make mistakes.

They really shouldn't call it "instant" yeast.
