A question about a recipe: Green Khachapuri (Georgian Cheese Bread)

I have a question about the recipe "Green Khachapuri (Georgian Cheese Bread)" from Erin McDowell. If I wanted to prep in advance, could I do the first rise in the fridge? If I do that, should I reduce the yeast at all? Or should I refrigerate for the second rise?

I’d do the first bulk rise in the fridge, but you shouldn’t need to reduce the yeast.
