A question about a recipe: Mary's Bagna Cauda Pasta

I have a question about the recipe "Mary's Bagna Cauda Pasta" from Caitlin Gunther Raux. How much lemon juice to add? The recipe just says 1/2, but it doesn’t specify 1/2 if what? Thank w.

"Half lemon, juiced or more to taste."
One lemon usually gives 1 1/2 to 2 oz.
Start with 1 oz.
Taste.

Hi! Yes, 1/2 of a lemon, juiced. Sometimes I do the whole lemon, if I want a really bright flavor, but you can start with a quarter, taste and add more to your liking... Hope you enjoy!
