A question about a recipe: Tuscan Rice and Custard Torta (Torta di Riso alla Carrarina)

I have a question about the recipe "Tuscan Rice and Custard Torta (Torta di Riso alla Carrarina)" from Emiko. How much water am I cooking the rice in and do I drain it after it is al dente?

it cooks for 10 minutes=parboiling. i'd approximate the water volume 3x to 1x rice. if that is not enough water to last 10 min., add more water, bring to boil, finish cooking the 10 min. yes, most def'ly drain it. what a sublime recipe you'll make.
