Just had tiny pickled plums, as well as pickled ripe orange grape tomatoes at my sister's in Israel, put up by a woman who makes small batches of interesting pickles. Really enjoyed them. I myself put up cured Moroccan lemons. I once had delicious pickled ripe red tomatoes: lots of garlic, the skins had split somewhat in the curing process. Wish I knew how to make those! They were delicious.
