I think the cake would freeze quite well, but I am not at all confident that the candied tomatoes would. I'd be concerned that they'd throw off a fair bit of liquid in the freezing process, and that their texture would change, and not for the better.
Depending on how long I planned to freeze the cake, I'd either put the candied tomatoes in the fridge - where they should hold well for at least a week or ten days -- or I'd wait to make the candied tomatoes until I planned to defrost and serve the cake, or a few days in advance of that. ;o)
