I have a question about the recipe "Louisa's Cake" from SML Office. What size baking pan do you use. and do you have to butter and flour the pan. I am a novice baker as you can tell

Yes, Butter and flour a 9 or 10-inch spring form pan. It's not a high cake so no worries on depth! Good Luck and happy baking.
