Can anyone tell me why bottom of my cake is wet? Could it be I used the wrong apples or cut into too big pieces?

Never encountered this before.
But do you only mean moist/wet or both wet and uncooked?
If moist, maybe just because of the ingredients and moister than you expected.
If still partly uncooked, I'm not sure.
Maybe others will have a suggestion.
