See this good recipe for Romesco Sauce...it makes about twice as much as the food52 recipe, and uses 1 tsp smoked paprika. So estimate 1/2 tsp smoked paprika for the version here.
PS But of course you can adjust seasonings to taste. Taste and add more (of the paprika and/or the other seasoning) if you want. Or if it's too highly seasoned for you, but you like the dish, make a note for next time and use less.
