I **think** it would be the same amount. I'd probably do it by "eye." It looked like the recipe was pretty forgiving, as my mom would say, so I'd plan on using just about 12 onuces of fresh fruit and maybe start with 10 oz or something and see how it looked and add more if I wanted to.
