I have a question about the recipe "Peachy Cooler" from Helen's All Night Diner. I'd like to make this but it's November now! What kind of fruit would work? Apples, pears, citrus, or...? Kiwi? or is there such a thing as 'winter sangria'?

Apples, pears, grapes and pomegranate seeds....persimmons when ripe perhaps. Mullthe wine first w/ cinnamon sticks then chill. Or, mix the friut into hard cider.
