Chickpea dumplings in spicy tomato sauce. Make tomato sauce by sautéing onions, jalapeño, and mustard seeds, cumin, and coriander. Add ginger, tons of curry powder, tamarind paste, canned tomatoes, and water. Bulk up with roasted cauliflower and reduce by simmering. Meanwhile, mix chickpea flour with creme fraiche, diced onions and chile, and peanut oil. Stir into a batter, then drop batter into sauce. Cover and steam for 7 minutes. #stew #curry #indian
