Made this mini-exploding beauty for a lunch meeting yesterday: Puff pastry filled with (mixed) cheeses topped with some homemade za'atar. Thaw frozen puff pastry per box instructions and roll out slightly. Layer about 6 oz of cheese in the middle. I love a good pepper jack mixed with port salut. Brie gets a bit too melty but you can experiment. Fold the shorter sides in first and then the longer sides and really seal up those seams so it doesn't explode like this one! Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with za'atar. Bake at 400 F for about 25 minutes or until golden brown all over and cool slightly before slicing and serving! ??☺️?
