Did you know you can pickle grains? Neither did associate editor Ali Slagle. She's trying it out with 1 cup cooked farro plus her usual pickling combo: 1 1/2 cups cider vinegar; 2 tablespoons sugar; a teaspoon of salt; and some mustard seeds, bay leaf, and fennel seeds. #experiment #pickling
