The makings of a very strange solo Saturday night meal: Fry mustard seeds in olive oil, then add capers. When capers are sputtering, add chopped black garlic. Let that be for some seconds, then add cooked chickpeas. Sauté, sitting, until chickpeas are warm and browning. Add cooked carrot and repeat. Stir in the dregs of last weekend's parsley pesto and some chopped toasted and salted almonds. #strangebutgood
