Homemade Crema is an easy way to upgrade taco night. There are two ways to make it. Today, I’m making the quick, shortcut version. Add equal parts heavy cream and sour cream to a bowl. Add salt, to your liking (I used 1/2 cup heavy cream + 1/2 cup sour cream + 1/2 teaspoon coarse sea salt), and whisk it to blend. Cover the bowl loosely with a towel, and let it stand at room temperature for 2 to 3 hours. I’ll confess, I’ve even used this mixture after as little as 30 minutes! Drizzle over tacos, and you’ll never use regular ol’ sour cream again. Store leftover crema in a sealed jar in the fridge for up to 2 weeks. #DIYMexican #crema #kitchenhacks
