Few things more filling, nourishing, and, alas, Southern than in a big pot of greens. In this case, turnips and their greens stewed in a slow cooker with garlic, chili flakes, garlic, pork stock (chicken or vegetable stocks works well, too) salt, pepper, and a dash or two of white wine vinegar.
