Easy way to dress up your oatmeal!
Make oatmeal on stovetop according to instructions - I use a 1:2 oat to liquid ratio. For the liquid use any milk (coconut, almond, dairy) or water.
In a non stick pan, add butter, fruit (I used apples and bananas but almost anything works) cinnamon, nuts and a pinch of salt and sauté for about 5-7 minutes. (About the same amount of time as it takes for the oatmeal to cook).
As oatmeal is almost finished, add in a scoop of almond butter (peanut butter also works) and stir to incorporate.
Place oatmeal in a bowl and top with your fruit and nut topping.
