20 minute Bone in ribeye with ruby port reduction - get a cast iron pan piping hot in the oven at 500, then remove and place on stove with heat still on. Sear the seasoned steak (salt, pepper, and a tbsp canola oil) for 30 seconds each side, then place in the oven for 1 minute. While this is cooking, reduce 1 cup port with a sprig of rosemary and a sprig of thyme. Then add 2 tbsp. Butter and cook until it thickens. Once steak is done let it rest for 5 minutes, then pour the juices into the port sauce and finish sauce another minute. Serve by drizzling port sauce on bottom and sliced steak on top! #notcontest

This looks incredible! Just one minute in the oven? It looks like it is cooked exactly how I like my steak.

Sorry! I used bone in ribeye and I placed it back in to cook just one more minute! I would use a fatty steak for this recipe @tasha!

Is this flat iron steak? And do you put the cast iron back in the oven to cook or just let it sit outside
