Homemade Hash
We didn't get around to making our St. Patrick's day boiled dinner until Sunday and of course I made more than we could ever want. My Aunt Gin came to the rescue telling me to make hash....why didn't I ever think of that?!? Into the food processor went the brisket. I boiled some red potatoes nail just done and what cooled I put them in the processor as well but just a couple of pulses to break them up ( I didn't want mashed potatoes). I chopped an onion and a bit of garlic and seasoned with fresh ground pepper. Mixed it all together and into my cast iron pan it went with just a bit of butter to get crisp. It was so tasty!
