Easy Kasha Varnishkes: Sauté onion and mushroom in butter until nice and caramelized. Remove from pan and set aside. Cook Kasha according to package instructions using beef stock or broth, then add cooked mushrooms and onions. Cook pasta (bow ties are traditional) according to package instructions and add to kasha mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Enjoy! #notcontest
