Beef roast (I normally use chuck), whatever size fits in your slow cooker. Season it with kosher salt, pepper, and steak seasoning. Sear on both sides, add 1 cup of beef broth, chop up whatever root vegetables you like (I LOVE PARSNIPS. SO MUCH.), and cook in a slow cooker on low for 6 hours! Done!
