Best (not)recipe brunch. Grits, bacon, runny poached egg.
GRITS: Combine 1 c. fine or medium ground cornmeal with 3 c. water (or stock!). Whisk occasionally on low. When tender and there are no lumps, add your favorite cheeses and season to taste.
Top with some crispy bacon, poached eggs and some salt, pepper and parsley. Even better with some green onion too.
