Bacon drippings-basted eggs: Cook bacon in a sauté pan and remove. Immediately crack the eggs into the pan and add salt and pepper. Using your spatula, begin to flick the bacon grease over the whites and briefly over the yolks (but not too much, unless you like your yolks fully cooked). Eggs turn out much more flavorful and with a bit more character ?
