Chicken and french onion pan perdu. Soak left over bread in cream and eggs. Dust with freshly grated nutmeg and a pinch of salt. Dredge bread in a mixture of grated Parmesan and fontina cheeses. Fry in butter and olive oil. Remove from pan when crisp then rub with a bruised garlic clove. Top bread with caramelized onions or onion marmalade. Top bread and onion with leftover chicken. Mix 2 parts maple syrup to 1 part cognac. Pour over french toast and enjoy! #notcontest
