My take on Jean-Georges Vongerichten's Fried Rice: brown 1 tablespoon each of minced garlic and ginger in duck fat over medium heat. Remove and salt when crispy. Reduce heat, add more fat and cook 1 cup thinly sliced leeks until tender. Increase heat to medium, add 2 cups day old rice, stirring until heated through, and season with salt. Divide into 2 bowls, top with sunny side up egg, drizzle with sesame oil and soy sauce, and add crispy garlic and ginger. #notcontest
