Make a galette dough following directions (easily found on Internet - I used Smittenkitchen). When ready to assemble, spread, leaving border of 1 1/2 to 2 inches, with a mixture of caramelized onion, grated Parmesan
cheese, minced garlic, and about a tablespoon of olive oil. Top with asparagus that has been trimmed and blanched for a few minutes. Fold in border to make rim. Drizzle with olive oil and minced garlic. Can brush crust with 1 beaten egg yolk mixed with 1 tsp water Bake at 400 degrees F for 30- 40 minutes until crust is golden. Let set for 5-10 minutes before cutting. Enjoy.
