The Friday Night Standard: Noodly pasta (in this case, bucatini), boiled in salted water til al dente and set aside; heat up olive oil with a couple whole cloves of garlic + generous heap of red pepper flakes + couple anchovies. Once everything has combined fragrantly, add pasta and a little bit of pasta water. Here's where I add a lot of pecorino (or Parmesan, whichever you have in the fridge) and, to gild the lily, a handful of breadcrumbs that have been fried in olive oil. A lazy, perfect, end of the week meal.
