Freestyle chicken leg braise with chickpeas and vegetables. Seat legs and reserve. Sauté onions until a bit brown and then add garlic and spices. I used: cumin, coriander, za'atar, smoked paprika, and cinnamon.Cook for a minute and add vegetables. I used fennel, carrot, and cauliflower. then add chickpeas and some chicken stock and being to a simmer, nestle the chicken pages on top and cook partially covered in a 325 oven for about 45 minutes, until vegetables and chicken are tender.
