Two pounds of spare ribs browned and removed from pan. Add chopped onion and garlic and soften. Add a healthy glug of wine (save some for the cook) and reduce by half. Add the ribs back in with a large can of tomatoes, put the lid on partway and let it cook on the stove for a few hours until tender. Shred with forks or serve whole over pasta
