Chia breakfast bowl with stewed grapes
Put a cup of grapes in a small saucepan on medium heat on the stove with a little nob of butter, a small splash of maple syrup, and about a 1/4 cup of water. Let that simmer, uncovered until grapes and soft and sauce has thickened, about 15-20 minutes. Add some water or cover if necessary.
Chia is the easiest breakfast. Use the spoon you will eat with to portion ingredients into your bowl: Two spoons of China, One spoon of shredded coconut, One spoon chopped or slivered almonds, One spoon of chopped pecans. Add a dash of cinnamon.
Mix ingredients together in your bowl and then pour hot water over to completely cover and stir to combine. Let the chia seeds absorb the water until it develops a thick, but not sticky consistency, add some more water if you need to.
Top with 2-3 spoonfuls of the stewed grapes and put the rest in a jar for breakfast or dessert tomorrow. Add some yogurt if you want that dairy in your life!
My favourite work day breakfast!
