Coffee cocktail so good we skied back the next day and had to ask for the recipe: glug in a solid amount of Mirabelle Liqueur (abundantly available around Megeve, France, infinitely substitutable... Though seek it out if you can--it has a subtle taste of little plums that is surprisingly well matched by coffee), then pour in a double shot of espresso, followed with a rather thick simple syrup made a la minute by spooning sugar in a bowl and dissolving in a little boiling water water, and top with Chantilly cream.
Drink with two straws, and ski home before having another!
