Slow cook steel cut oats for 2-3; 3:1 ratio liquid to oats. I use (nondairy)milk for 2/3 of the liquid and rest is water. I also mix in ground flaxmeal, coconut flakes, cinnamon, etc any flavors you enjoy and maple syrup/honey at the end.
Top with fresh fruit, pepitas and sliced almonds or nuts, etc.
I portion the oats out into containers and breakfast is set for the week!!
