Upgrade that box of Mac! Sautéed leeks with some good ol' Annie's Mac and cheese. Chop off the roots and dark green leaves from leeks. Halve and slice into quarter to half inch slices. Rinse slices thoroughly and toss into a hot sauté pan with bacon fat, butter, salt and pepper over medium high heat until soft and some pieces start to caramelize. Combine with pasta and wolf down immediately.
