I always have homemade chicken stock in the freezer so I just heated it, added a sliced carrot, diced celery stalk, some parsley, & scallions (cuz I didn't feel like dicing onion), a garlic clove cut in half which I removed before serving. When it came up to a simmer, I added noodles & cooked for 12 minutes. Voila!
