Add 1 cup flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoons sugar to food processor, pulse to mix
Cut in 6 tablespoons of butter and 2 tablespoons vegetable shortening. pulse 5-6 times
Sprinkle 2-3 tablespoons ice water over mixture, pulse a few times until it just comes together
Refrgerate at least 30 minutes
Prepare filling of choice, roll out, place on top, and bake at 375 for 45 minutes
