Somewhere between Manhattan and New England Clam Chowder - in a crock pot add crushed, peeled tomatoes, cut carrots, diced celery, chopped parsley, diced shallot, 2 cans of clams with juice and 1 bottle of clam juice. Add 2 cooked and cubed salmon filets. Set to low for about 8 hours or high for about 4 hours. Prior to serving, turn into a chowder by adding a mix of about 4 tablespoons AP flour (use a GF blend to make this soup gluten free!), 4 tablespoons butter and 1/2 C cream.
