Glad to report that the amazing rosemary flavoured iced latte about which Jennifer Perillo wrote here a couple of days ago transforms beautifully into a hot cup of espresso, for those of us who might not like sugar in our milky coffee and cooler days.
Instead of sugar I just used some of the rosemary infused simple syrup leftover from her original (not) recipe (to which, if I am perfectly honest, I also added a small piece of lemon peel) to sweeten my afternoon pick-me-up espresso. Perfect.
And a good time to say how happy this app makes me, a place that had been missing, full of inspiration, useful tips & tricks and real glimpses into the way other people cook every day. Many thanks to Food52 for creating it and everyone here for sharing – I can’t wait to see how it evolves!
