Chinese jook. Cook a rice of your choice (here, jasmine white) in a liquid of your choice (here, chicken stock) with as many smashed garlic cloves as feel right. Throw in a knob of ginger if you feel spicy! Simmer and continue cooking and adding liquid until you're satisfied or hungry. Top with soy sauce, sesame oil, and black and white pepper. Lastly, grab a fistful of the last of your yellowing herbs (parsley!) and scatter haphazardly. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
